The CrepePro all started when my family took a trip to Paris. The Rasmussen clan made the trip a good 10 years ago or so and all fell in love with the Parisian way of making crepes. Upon returning home, we were desperate to find a way to spin those amazing, Nutella filled confections. The only options we found were big, clunky industrial units that had an integrated burner. Not only did they have a huge price tag, they also would take up so much precious space in the kitchen.
Enter: the CrepePro. My dad, Ken, is quite handy with a saw and started making prototypes for a French-style crepe pan right away. We wanted something simple and streamlined that would fit into our already hectic lives. After almost a dozen different renditions, we finally landed on this awesome product. It’s a multifunctional griddle that fits perfectly next to your cookie sheets (that is, if you ever want to take it off your stove top in the first place). The T-handle spinner and metal flipper allow for a truly unique and authentic crepe creation process. The low profile design lets you gracefully flip huge, perfectly formed crepes. Now, this crepe pan is still the thing that brings the whole family together. We reminisce about that trip to Paris all those years ago, but more often, we talk about the good memories we’ve made gathered around the kitchen table, eating crepes or pizza, and just loving each other’s company.
